ET2021 primarily benefits the Edinboro Volunteer Fire Department, as well as other local non-profits whose support help continue the tradition of The Edinboro Triathlon.
The Edinboro Volunteer Fire Department volunteers their time and energy for the safety of our ET athletes. You will see their team along the bike and run courses directing traffic, in the water with the safety team, on the ambulances, and on the emergency ATV. Please be sure to thank them as you go by!

The Radio Association of Erie will be out on the course on race day with radio support for our safety team. Give them a nod as you bike and run by them!
The County YMCA serves as host for our packet stuffing and packet pick up for ET2020. We are grateful for their accommodations and for all they do for the Edinboro community.
The Edinboro University Triathlon Club, founded in 2015, is part of the Northeastern Collegiate Triathlon Conference. Previous ET Race Director Brianne serves as the faculty coordinator! Students, faculty, and staff can participate and regularly train together and meet to discuss triathlon and cycling basics, upcoming races, and fundraising events. Participating in NECTC races can qualify Club triathletes for Collegiate Nationals. The donation will be used for athlete race kits and travel to Conferences and Nationals.
The Edinboro University Swim Team is coached by previous ET Swim Leg Coordinator Chris Rhodes. You will also see members of the swim team in Edinboro Lake as lifeguards for ET2020 – give them a wave as you cruise by. The team is NCAA Division II and part of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference. Donations will be used for practice equipment, team clothing, and to offset athlete costs for the winter training trip.
